Dr. Norah Obudho is a medical doctor with extensive experience in leadership, management, and public health. She serves as the East Africa Director for WomenLift Health, leading efforts to expand the power and influence of women in global health leadership. With a career spanning over 15 years, Dr. Obudho has worked at the intersection of public health and project management, designing, managing, and leading teams across various public health programs. Her expertise includes HIV, maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), sexual and reproductive health and rights, empowerment initiatives, and health systems strengthening. A passionate advocate for gender equality in health leadership, Dr. Obudho is committed to amplifying the voices of those championing gender parity and equitable access to healthcare—particularly for girls, women, and other at-risk populations in Africa. She frequently uses her platforms to address the intersections of health, leadership, and development, shedding light on how climate change, conflict, unemployment, poverty, gender inequality, pay gaps, education, and cultural factors impact health outcomes. She strongly believes that equity in leadership is fundamental to tackling global health challenges.
